NetBank Business: Viewing all account balances

The All balances screen is displayed as the default screen once you have logged on to the NetBank Business system. This screen provides easy access to all the accounts you have linked to your profile. It reflects a list of accounts for which you have access rights and you can view the current and available balance for each account. The All balances screen may be accessed through the Enquiries menu as well. However, if you are not authorised to view any account balances, a welcome screen will be displayed and the menu option will not be available.

Accessing the All balances screen

1 Follow this path through the main menu to view all balances:

6 To see an overview of your account click on the Account number or Current balance for quick access to the Statement or Balance enquiry screens respectively. Alternatively, to view your balance or statement select Enquiries and then the required function.

7 For current and savings accounts, a Current balance is the actual balance on the account, whereas an Available balance is the actual balance minus all outstanding authorised items and effects not cleared (ENCs).

The ENC rule is linked to cheques paid in by clients drawn on other banks. The amount paid in will be added to the client's balance, but the available balance will be reduced by the value of the ENC.
